Torment of Giants
A four-piece rock band that was formed in Bergen County, New Jersey in April of 2019. The band began writing songs and playing locally within months of formation. Although they couldn’t play any in-person shows in 2020 due to the Covid 19 pandemic, they kept quite busy recording their debut album which was released in November 2020 while simultaneously building a strong online presence through their Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube channel. Their song “Trouble Deluxe” was featured on the legendary Genya Ravan’s show Goldie’s Garage on SiriusXM in June of 2021. They have also been featured on BlowUpRadio.com and various podcasts. Torment Of Giants released a live album in April 2022, entitled “Live At Jimmy’s”. Some of the songs on that album will be on their second studio album coming sometime 2023. Torment Of Giants are continually writing songs, booking shows, and making beautiful noise for the masses.
Pellagra
Pellagra started with Rene Rosa (vocals/guitar) and Michael Grund (drums) jamming in a basement and eventually realizing that the monstrous sound they were coming up with needed a 3rd. In came Lisa Toniolo (bass) and the lineup was now complete. With some doom metal, punk, grunge and even surf guitar mixed in, there is no telling where Pellagra’s sound will go next, but no matter what it will always be the monster sound of Jersey City, New Jersey.
RP
A 5-piece band from Carteret, NJ that combines elements of Rock and Punk, while blurring the lines of both. Forming in 1988, they came up playing the local NY/NJ scene at legendary venues like the Court Tavern and CBGB’s. The band took a hiatus that began in the mid 90’s and later reformed in 2013. In 2015 they released their first full length record in over 25 years titled ‘DIRT BOMB’ and have been releasing new music ever since. Their latest EP titled ‘Call of the Void’ dropped in April 2022 and is available now on all major streaming platforms.
