This place is great! Nice selection of vintage and new music at reasonable prices. Owner is very personable and there is a cozy performance area in the back for intimate live music performance.

Morris County has a great new Record Store growing in Dover on Route 15. I recently went to this vinyl house as I have been hearing allot about it on social media sites. Factory Records on Rt 15 just on the Border of Dover and Wharton has been open just a few months now and is poised to be something really spectacular. When I visit used record stores I’m looking for several things, and they are : 1- Selection and Condition 2-Organization and accessibility and most importantly 3- Records price to move. Factory Records meets all this and more. They have 2.95 and 4.95 sale bins to forge through along side of a great premier selection of both used and new vinyl. Within these very cool walls of what looks like a real factory of music, one can find a huge assortment of used CD’s and Cassettes as well. The back of the store offers a modest selection of some fine vintage audio gear including turntables and amps. The atmosphere has this laid back and friendly vibe that makes you feel welcome almost to a point you can spend hours crate digging. This store is up and coming. If your a newbie vinyl collector or someone like myself collecting 45 years, make it a point to visit Factory Records. It takes me back to some classic old vinyl houses like Vintage Vinyl, Pellet Records, The Vinyl Vault, or could be an upcoming Mecca like Princeton’s Record Exchange. I certainly look very forward to my next visit. Congrats Record Factory, keep up the good work.

I love Factory records! They have an immense collection of vinyl. A lot of rare, limited, and otherwise hard-to-find titles. Be prepared to spend some time here sifting through the racks. If there's a specific title you may be looking for, Tim will likely be able to tell you exactly where it is. Highly recommended!
