Released in October 2025, Trajectory is the second album by Alta Forma. The project is led by Antoine Fafard and features Todd Sucherman on drums, with JK Harrison on vocals and keyboards. Although Antoine has spent years creating instrumental music, he has always had a deep passion for music with vocals. His collaboration with JK Harrison allowed him to explore that avenue and bring his musical vision to life through the addition of words. The presence of lyrics adds an undeniable extra dimension to the overall musical experience. Trajectory explores several themes, including the idea of realigning one's goals, making life choices without simply adopting someone else's thoughts, and the artist's challenge of avoiding creative repetition. Other songs reflect on the monotony of routine lives, where actions are repeated periodically, and delve into the surreal concept of bent timelines. Additional themes addressed on the album include the futility of war and the reality of being trapped within one's own mind. One song contemplates the notion that individuals are composed of multiple identities, while the album closes by examining how some people make sense of the world through the lens of conspiracy theories. Trajectory blends the world of progressive rock with a harmonic language more commonly found in jazz fusion. The listener is invited on a unique sonic journey crafted to stand the test of time.
