Product Description
Best known for his work with the Animals, Family, Stud, and Moonrider, John Weider stepped out briefly in 1976 with a self-titled solo LP on Anchor Records. Produced by Beatles engineer Phil McDonald, it featured support from Charlie Whitney (Family), bassist Charlie McCracken (Taste), and drummer Pierce Kelly (Gary Moore Band). More a late-night singer-songwriter set than a rock spectacle, it blends gentle soft-rock, understated pop, and a touch of instrumental flair. Quietly tucked away for decades and never before reissued, this first-ever CD edition is remastered from the original master tapes by Prof. Stoned, and comes packaged with a 16-page booklet of new liner notes and an exclusive obi strip for collectors.
