BALTHVS — the Colombian psychedelic funk trio whose globe-spanning sound has drawn comparisons to Khruangbin and a devoted following across the jam and festival circuits — present Transmutations, their first live offering and fifth full-length. Captured during the band's late-2025 European run and Flesh & Soul tour, then re-recorded and refined to studio fidelity, Transmutations bottles the relentless energy of BALTHVS on stage without sacrificing a shred of sonic clarity. Across two sets, the trio — Balthazar Aguirre (guitar, vocals); Johanna Mercuriana (bass, vocals); and Santiago Lizcano (drums, vocals) — joined by Vanessa Muñoz, moves through hypnotic fusions like "LSD In Bahia," the dancefloor-ready "Mood Swing," and "Shakedown Street," their love letter to the Grateful Dead, the band BALTHVS calls its foundational influence.
