Saxophonist Buddy-Jay Kieffer leads a mighty band through an exploration of 1960's Jamaican style jazz music and beyond. Since the bands inception in Portland Oregon in 2012, Buddy and the band have been wowing audiences with their high energy, creative, and often somewhat unpredictable live shows. They elaborate on the original sounds from the golden era of Jamaican music which include Mento, Calypso, Ska, Rocksteady, and early Reggae and Dub. They combine these sounds with a myriad of other styles like Latin Jazz, Afrobeat, American Jazz, and Kompa to create something truly unique and powerful. Anywhere I Travel is the band's third full length record, maroon vinyl limited to 200 copies.
