Five years on from their highly-acclaimed sophomore album 'Balance', Manchester's kings of hip hop soul, Tyler Daley and Konny Kon, bring us a brand new 16-track opus. Sonically the duo continue their story where they left off; crafting an amalgamation of street soul, alternative R&B and boom bap hip hop, with a sprinkle of flavors taken from their original multi-genre pirate radio influences, and a dash of forward-thinking new sounds, ensuring all tracks are destined to become future classics. The features are sparing but powerful, enlisting the talents of revered UK rapper Knucks ('Before We Drown'), Colorado-native Young Old Soul ('Dopamine'), MCR family [ K S R ] ('Do You Want To Get High'}, & Australian/Mauritian up & comer Anieszka ('Water & Vibes'). As with previous projects, this album is largely produced by the duo themselves, though there are guest productions from previous collaborators too, including Grammy Award-winner Beat Butcha, Grammy-nominated Teo, and broken beat pioneer K15, along with an assortment of new players making moves in the underground neo-soul & beats circuit. Conceptually, this project continues on with the story to date. An eternal search for sunsets and soulfood, as a respite to the anxieties of the modern world; personally, professionally and globally.
