What The Patrons Heard is a personally curated selection of songs previously exclusively available on David J's Patreon, recorded between 1986 and 2020. "A testament to both David's diverse musical range across his extensive catalog and the fact that he has a distinctive style and energy to his music no matter how varied it may be." -Cave Dweller Music. "The songs are quirky, symbolic and have the ability to transport you away to another place or another life. As an orator Mr. J is beautifully spoken and as a singer, he calls to your soul with a voice, it seems, untouched with age." -Onyx Music Reviews.
