Using old Casiotones and karaoke machines, the pair create a lo-fi home-recording sound that seems to draw out lyricism sunk deep within memory. From their cassette mini-album RYOKAN, released last year, 'Umi' and 'Dubmi' have now been selected for a 7" release. Like a midsummer daydream brought on by sweltering heat, this is a fantastical, haze-wrapped trippy summer tune steeped in a dreamlike mood.
