With over two million solo albums sold worldwide, he's been named one of the top 50 guitarists of all time. Originally from Oceanside, California, Stevie left home in 1985 to pursue music. Within eight months, he was discovered by George Clinton and began recording as his lead guitarist. He later earned his first major label production credit with Was (Not Was) on the UK hit "Out Come the Freaks," from What Up Dog? -named one of Rolling Stone's top 100 albums of the decade.
