Founded by brothers Nick and Jonathan Diener, the band quickly established a reputation for their energetic performances and heartfelt lyrics. Initially influenced by the burgeoning punk rock and pop-punk scenes of the mid-to-late 1990s, The Swellers honed their sound through relentless touring and a series of well-received independent releases.In 2009, The Swellers signed with Fueled by Ramen, a label known for it's roster of influential punk and alternative acts. The album's themes of personal growth and resilience resonated deeply with fans, setting the stage for their next major release.2011 saw The Swellers release their sophomore album via FBR, "Good For Me," which was produced by Bill Stevenson and Jason Livermore at The Blasting Room.
