His connection with Hard Times began behind the decks at the label's sold-out Miami Winter Music Conference showcase, where a shared appreciation for the music soon developed into plans for a release."After playing for the Hard Times crew in Miami, I told them how I'd been a fan of the label for years and that I'd love to release something with them one day," says Fletch. "I sent over some tracks that I felt were a natural fit and the guys signed them on the spot. The rest, as they say, is history!"The title track sets the tone for the EP with rolling drums, elastic basslines, and understated vocal hooks, while 'Stand Up' leans into swung percussion and classic chord stabs.
