Roxx Records are set to release the brand new CD Refined By The Flames from San Antonio Texas's very own Becoming Sons.Becoming Sons is a five-piece metal band based out of San Antono, Texas and formed in 2015, they have developed a signature sound they call "metalpraisecore", which blends metalcore, thrash, and melodic hooks with spiritual themes of hope and redemption. Their name is inspired by Romans 8:12-14, reflecting a focus on spiritual transformation. Becoming Sons aim to be a "message of hope to the hopeless" through high-energy live performances that often include audience participation.In 2020, their single "Illuminate" reached #1 on the Loud CMW charts for 16 consecutive weeks. Recent releases include their singles "Awakened" (early 2024), "Dead Church" (October 2024) and a metal cover of "Hark! The Herald Angels Scream" for the 2024/2025 holiday season, which also reached #1 on the CMW chart for 5 months straight, and it was the #1 song on the CMW charts for 2 weeks in January 2025. Becoming Sons is set to release a new single titled "Hidden Truth" on January 23, 2026 which is also when we will launch pre orders. This will be followed by the new EP titled "Refined by the Flames." Get ready as Becoming Sons is prepared to take the world by storm with their genre bending form of Spiritual Metal.
