A long-awaited reissue of Qimygo's first 7-inch single "Amenohi (c/w Marble)", originally released in 2015, returns eleven years later. Now an indispensable presence in the Japanese reggae scene, female singer-songwriter Qimygo makes a welcome comeback with this special reissue. The A-side, "Amenohi", is an original song heavily influenced by late-1960s Jamaican music. A sweet and bittersweet rocksteady tune, it remains a favorite in club settings and live performances even more than a decade after it's original release. The B-side, "Marble", is a lovers rock track featuring a pleasant, rolling rhythm inspired by UK reggae pioneers such as Dennis Bovell and the iconic ARIWA Sounds label led by Mad Professor, paired with Qimygo's clear and expressive vocals.
