Since their start, the group-Trent Wagler (vocals, banjo, guitar), Eric Brubaker (fiddle), Jay Lapp (mandolin, guitar), Kevin Garcia (drums, percussion), and Jeremy Darrow (bass)-has grown from a harmony-driven acoustic act into a dynamic folk rock band with a loyal following and a reputation for powerful live shows. The Steel Wheels was recorded in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley with producer D. James Goodwin (Goose, Bonny Light Horseman, I'm With Her) at his studio, The Isokon. Tracking live in one room brought immediacy and intimacy to the sessions, resulting in an album that feels urgent and alive. Songs like "Easy," "Go Back," and "Keep On Dancing" highlight the band's range, combining anthemic energy with moments of tender restraint.
