Sony TA-2000F Stereo Control Preamplifier, widely regarded as the grandfather of Sony’s acclaimed ES (Elevated Standard) series. Built in Japan during the golden era of hi-fi, this solid-state masterpiece offers incredible audiophile grade build quality, a highly sophisticated layout, and an iconic aesthetic highlighted by two ultra-responsive, beautiful front VU meters.
The "F" revision upgraded the original model with advanced FET circuitry and a modernized control layout, including a modular internal card-based chassis designed to keep the signal path as short and pure as possible. It features an exceptionally robust phono stage with front/rear adjustments, independent input level trim pots, and an integrated internal headphone amplifier.
